Navien Boiler Service in Greater Vancouver

BC’s most-installed condensing combi brand — NCB, NFB and NPE installation, repair, maintenance, parts and emergency service across Greater Vancouver.

Navien: Korean condensing technology, in Canada since the 2000s

Navien is the volume leader in BC condensing boilers, and for practical reasons: the NCB-E combi series delivers heating and domestic hot water from one compact wall-hung unit at 95%+ efficiency, at an installed price that undercuts the European premium brands. The NCB-H covers heating-only applications and the NFB fire-tube series handles larger loads.

The other Navien advantage in Greater Vancouver is logistics. Parts distribution here is the strongest of any boiler brand — igniters, sensors, gas valves and boards are typically same-day from local suppliers, which keeps repair windows short. Our technicians service Navien daily and carry the common NCB wear parts on the truck.

Navien FAQs

What does Navien error code E003 mean?

E003 is an ignition failure — the boiler tried to light three times and locked out. Common causes are a worn igniter, a dirty flame rod, low gas pressure, or condensation on the electrode during damp Vancouver winters. You can reset once; if it returns, book a diagnosis rather than repeatedly resetting.

How much does a Navien combi boiler cost installed?

Typical NCB-E combi installations in Greater Vancouver run about $5,500–$8,500 installed depending on output, venting, and whether we are removing a separate tank. That usually makes Navien the value leader among condensing combis. Rebates may apply on qualifying high-efficiency installs.

Is Navien a reliable boiler brand?

Yes — with two caveats we see in the field: it must be sized and commissioned properly, and it needs annual servicing. The large installed base in BC means parts and experienced technicians are everywhere, which keeps lifetime ownership costs down.
