Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GasBoilers.ca, a division of CANRO Boilers Heating & Air Conditioning, governing your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1Services Offered

GasBoilers.ca provides professional boiler and heating services in the Greater Vancouver Area, including but not limited to:

  • Boiler installation (residential and commercial)
  • Boiler repair and diagnostics
  • Boiler replacement and upgrades
  • Emergency boiler repair services (24/7)
  • Preventive maintenance and annual servicing
  • Boiler parts supply and replacement
  • Hydronic heating system services
  • Combi boiler installation and service

All services are performed by licensed, insured, and certified technicians in accordance with British Columbia building codes and safety regulations.

2Service Appointments and Scheduling

Booking

Service appointments can be scheduled by phone at 604-359-1081, through our website, or via email. We will confirm your appointment and provide an estimated arrival window.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a service call fee.

Access to Property

You agree to provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the work area. The work area should be clear of obstructions to allow for efficient service. An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the service appointment.

3Pricing and Payment

Estimates and Quotes

We provide free estimates for most services. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary if additional issues are discovered during service or if the scope of work changes.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made
  • We accept cash, cheque, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and e-transfer
  • For larger installations, a deposit may be required before work begins
  • Financing options are available for qualified customers

Service Call Fee

A diagnostic service call fee may apply for repair visits. This fee covers the technician's travel time and initial assessment. The service call fee is typically waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.

4Warranties and Guarantees

Our Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work. All labor and workmanship is guaranteed for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of service completion.

Manufacturer Warranties

New equipment installations include manufacturer warranties as specified by the equipment manufacturer. We will assist you in registering your equipment and can help facilitate warranty claims. Warranty coverage and duration vary by manufacturer and product.

Parts Warranty

Replacement parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever possible to ensure compatibility and reliability.

Warranty Limitations

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Damage from power surges, flooding, or other external factors
  • Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized parties
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

5Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • GasBoilers.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or issues with your heating system that were not within the scope of our service

6Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your heating system and service needs
  • Ensure safe access to the work area for our technicians
  • Inform us of any known hazards or special conditions at the property
  • Obtain any necessary permits or approvals required for the work (we can assist with this)
  • Make timely payment for services rendered
  • Follow recommended maintenance schedules to maintain warranty coverage

7Emergency Services

24/7 Emergency Availability

We offer 24/7 emergency boiler repair services. Emergency service rates may apply for calls outside regular business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays). Our dispatcher will inform you of applicable rates when you call.

8Intellectual Property

All content on the GasBoilers.ca website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of GasBoilers.ca or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

9Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website
  • Interfere with or disrupt the website or servers
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Use automated systems to access the website without permission

10Dispute Resolution

11Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
