Why a licensed BC gas-fitter matters
Legal requirement
Only TSBC-licensed gas-fitters can legally perform gas work on a boiler in BC. Unlicensed work voids insurance and warranty.
Red Seal standard
Red Seal is the highest gas-fitter credential in Canada — it means 4 years of apprenticeship plus a national exam.
Manufacturer warranty
Every major brand requires installation by a factory-trained, licensed gas-fitter for the warranty to be valid.

We provide our TSBC contractor licence number and individual gas-fitter ticket numbers to any homeowner who asks before the job starts. You can verify any BC gas-fitter directly through Technical Safety BC.
