Trane: Flame Rollout Switch Tripped
What this fault means
Safety-critical: flame rolled out of the burner box instead of drawing into the heat exchanger, tripping the manual-reset rollout switch. The furnace must be diagnosed by a technician before reset.

- Blocked heat exchanger or vent
- Failed inducer / poor draft
- Cracked heat exchanger (a carbon-monoxide risk)
- Lint or debris in the burner area
